Golan Studios/Atomic Imaging, a Chicago-based full-service film & television production and studio rental facility, will be hosting an Open House/Product Showcase on Wednesday, January 14th, 2015 from 1:00PM – 6:00PM and Thursday, January 15th from 9:00AM-2:00PM featuring Blackmagic Design digital cinema cameras, ZEISS Lenses and the newest URSA rigging accessories from Wooden Camera.
The event will include hands on demonstrations of the brand new Blackmagic URSA Cinema Camera, the BMD Studio Camera and the complete Cinema Camera line (Production 4K, Cinema 2.5K and Pocket Cinema Cameras), along with a variety of third party rigs and lenses and DaVinci Resolve 11.
The event will also include presentations (informal schedule) from Bob Caniglia, Sr. Regional Manager of Blackmagic Design, and renowned Director/Cinematographer, Ari Golan. With more than 30 years of production experience in the film, television and commercial world, Ari will discuss the technical merits of the products as well as share his experience shooting the very first feature film to be released that was shot on Blackmagic cameras. In addition, he will cover the workflow between the Blackmagic cameras and DaVinci Resolve.
